Dr. Heather Jacene is Assistant Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Clinical Director of Nuclear Medicine at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency and fellowship in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Jacene has served as a Director on the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and on numerous Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) committees. Her current positions include Scientific Program Chair and the Value Initiative Quality Domain Chair. Dr. Jacene’s research focuses on using radiotracers to characterize tumors and monitoring cancer response to therapy as well as radiopharmaceutical nuclide therapy.
