Dr Anna Trigos

Dr Anna Trigos is the Head of the Multi-omic Evolution and Ecosystems Laboratory at the Peter Mac. The Trigos lab focuses on understanding how different -omics layers in tumour cells and the microenvironment adapt and co-evolve as an ecosystem to drive cancer progression, resistance and metastasis.

In 2023 Dr. Trigos was awarded the L’Oreal-UNESCO Fellowship for Women in Science, in 2021 she received the Prostate Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award, and in 2020 she was awarded the Lea Award Medal recognizing emerging female research leaders by the Peter Mac. She has been awarded three NHMRC Ideas grants as CI, two CASS Foundation grants, and is a co-investigator in several international grants, including a PCF Tactical Award and a US Department of Defence grant.
